Species: Betula papyrifera
Description: Tall straight, separated trunks, upward branches, white bark, doubly serrated leaves.
Modeling:
- Individual branches and leaf groups.
- Branches and leaves separated so you can easily get a winter birch (hide leaves).
- Transform so you can move/scale the entire tree, container so you can hide/show the entire tree.
**Why no billboard textures?:** My models use meshes for individual leaves and parts. Typically a billboard texture will be used to reduce poly count in leaf clusters. However, my models are not intended for games/VR but for closeups in raytracing such as Blender Cycles.
