Went to a forest yesterday and found these logs laying near a road so I though why not scan them!
I scanned the logs with Google Constructor app then I exported the results to my PC, on my computer I did some cleanup and poisson reconstruction in Meshlab, then I exported the results into Blender to make a UV map. Then I exported the mesh with UV map back into Meshlab and applied Transfer Vertex attributes to Texture filter.
This is the result.
