Shape model of the large main-belt asteroid (216) Kleopatra and its dog-bone shape. It was generated using high-resolution images from the SPHERE instrument on the VLT (more details on this imaging survey are published in [this article](https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2021A%26A...654A..56V/abstract).

Kleopatra is an M-type asteroid with a volume equivalent diameter of 118 km and a rotation period of ~5.39 h. Kleopatra has two moons and its shape consists in two lobes and a thick neck.
