This model shows an anatomical heart with right dominance. Heart dominance is described by which coronary artery branch gives off the posterior descending artery and supplies the inferior wall. Most hearts (80-85%) are right dominant where the Posterior descending artery is supplied by the right coronary artery.
The model is loosely based on the Bodyparts3D model (available at http://lifesciencedb.jp/bp3d/ ), which was further modified to be more detailed and precise. The model is used in an e-learning module on the anatomy of coronary arteries.
