Armalite AR14 Autoloading Sporter

The ar14 rifle Designed by the Armalite firearms company that would have been a rather slick semi automatic sporting rifle for competition and hunting but it never left the planning stage so its development was never finished nor never made. The rifle was in a such an early state of development that it would not function in reality as there is no space for the charging handle to go when the rifle is cycled and it would not chamber any rounds as the shape of the bolt would hit the back of the magazine preventing feeding. Caliber - 308 win/7.62x51. Magazine capacity - 3 rounds. There is barely any info out there about the rifle so this 3d model is based on original drawing by Armalite and the knowledge that it could be chambered in the .308 win and constructed from early forms of plastics and then new aluminum.
