Asset Overview
A model of an early type of medieval black powder gun known as a Serpent Lock Handgonne (thanks to its serpent like firing mechanism) made according to illustrations from the 1411 Codex Vindobana manuscript. The gun is rather huomgous according to its depiction in Codex Vindobana where it nearly dwarfs its wielder making the thing more of a cannon that musket.
