Crush 1

This is a crush bifurcation stent technique. After the both the main and side branches were wired, a stent was inserted into the side branch such that approximatley one sixth of the stent was remaining in the main branch and a balloon was inserted into the main branch. A double kissing balloon technique was then used to inflate both balloons at the same time, which causes the portion of the stent in the main branch to be crushed towards the vessel wall. A second stent was then implanted in the main branch further crushing the first stent. The side branch is then rewired through both stents, and a double kissing balloon technique was used to create an opening for the side branch.
