This is a model of a bifurcation culotte stenting procedure. After wiring both main branch and side branch, the first stent was implanted in the side branch with approximatley half the stent in the side branch and the remaing half remaining in the main branch. The kissing balloon technique (inflating a balloon in both branches of bifurcation at the same time)was then used to create an opening in the stent to accomidate the main branch. A second stent was then implanted through the generated opening, and a POT was used to better stabalize the main branch stent. Lastly, the side branch was rewired with the previously jailed guide wire, and another kissing balloon inflation was done to ensure both stents were well imposed with the vessel walls.
