Asset Overview
This is a fixed human heart that was donated for research. The donor was a 78 year old male with a history of myocardial infarction, COPD, coronary artery disease, quadruple bypass surgery, aortic aneurism repair (ascending aorta), and silver dollar sized foramen ovale.
We partner with [LifeSource](https://www.life-source.org/) to receive donated organs deemed not viable for transplant.
