Asset Overview
A generic Octahedral, 3d, Transition Metal MO-Diagram. Only the molecular orbitals resulting from the 3d atomic orbitals are shown. The diagram was based off computational work on [Co(NH₃)₆]3+. SALC's were determined for the NH₃, and sigma bonding orbitals containing the lone pair were used.
These molecules were modeled through a combination of ORCA, UCSF Chimera, and Blender.
