The "DAD-series 77N" is one of the few pieces of manmade equipment that can be seen as an exhibit in a museum and that is in use in the field at the same time. This helmet was one of the first universal "all-environment" headgears that saw service in the first and second interstellar exploration phases.
It was concepted by Gerulf Doesinger himself in 2023. It's sturdy design and compatibility with even modern atmospheric-sealing all-terrain suits made it the choice whenever an unknown situation would arise. The helmet was intended for civil use only but saw limited use even in minor military conflicts mostly used by the border guard.
The concept itself set the basis for many other designs. The "series 77N" lives on as a standard piece of equipment for training and because of the expired license it is still being built by minor companies and hobbyists. It's legacy will live on.
