Asset Overview
The first thing I did was to search up the protein/drug pdb file and relevent journal article. I then loaded the pdb file into pymol and cleaned up the model a bit. I then started my research into the protein/dug interactions of this system. I ended up finding 5: hydrogen bonding, ion chelation, leucine rotamers, hydrophobic interactions, and polar interactions. The leucine rotamer (the off-rotamer to be specific) was not that strong of an interaction with vorinostat but nevertheless I found the mechanism intersting and decided to keep it in. I then found all of the residues that relate to these protein/drug interactions and changed their animation, colour, and for most of them I added their surface interactions. I then went back and wrote up a short description of the protein/drug interactions and then ported my pymol file into sketchfab. After fiddling around with the background a bit I lined up the camera angles for protein/drug interaction annotations and then copied the infomation over.
