Asset Overview

This unusual 23 sided polyhedron is the convex hull of three mutually orthogonal affine heptagons. It has 3-fold symmetry around its central axis. Each individual affine heptagon has mirror symmetry. The Icosatrihedron has 23 faces, 15 vertices and 38 edges. ( F+V=E+2 ) Although this Icosatrihedron is actually convex, some of the faces have been rendered as transparent so the three internal affine heptagons are visible from outside. Affine heptagons are described in Scott Vorthmann's articles: Part 1: http://nbviewer.jupyter.org/github/vorth/ipython/blob/master/heptagons/HeptagonNumbers.ipynb Part 2: http://nbviewer.jupyter.org/github/vorth/ipython/blob/master/heptagons/DrawingTheHeptagon.ipynb Part 3: http://nbviewer.jupyter.org/github/vorth/ipython/blob/master/heptagons/Sevenfold%20Rotation.ipynb Compare this model with the [Regular Heptagon version](https://skfb.ly/R7SB).
