Asset Overview

This model represents a Calcium Carbide miners lamp - widely used in mining in the early 1900s. Granules of calcium carbide were placed in the base of the lamp and water dripped in from above to produce acetylene gas - which is then ignited at the burner nozzle. It burns with a bright white light. I made the model using Shapr 3d on the ipad, exported to Zbrush for uv creation and then exported to substance painter for textures, lettering and other surface details. You are free to use this model in any way.
