Asset Overview
This is a perfusion fixed whole human heart that was donated for research. The donor was a 65 year old female with no known cardiac dysfunctions. The heart has plastic cannulae attached to the head vessels which were not captured by the 3D scan.
We partner with [LifeSource](https://www.life-source.org/) to receive donated organs deemed not viable for transplant.
