Asset Overview
A differential movement mechanism. An eccentric shaft moves the rod, which moves the first slider, in a classic crank piston mechanism.
But the rod is also connected to a gear, which engages with a rack on the second slider. The gear transmits the linear displacement of the first slider and also the movement caused by its rotation.
In some moments , the 2 movements have the same direction, in others they are opposite.
