Capture of the reception area of Memorial Hall (1923) at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Certainty +/- 15cm Captured by Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G smartphone using the "3D Scanner" app by Lubos Vonasek Programmierung 2021. This app uses the two cameras on the smartphone simultaneously to create a pair of eyes somewhat like ours (but closer together.) During recording, the user monitors the generation of the virtual construct as well as one video feed and the calculated depth of field map. While the smaller object scanner proves to be extremely useful, the users were not able to master a level of reality capture accuracy suitable enough to reliably 'stitch together' multiple scans.
