Asset Overview
This model was generated by MBARI's Ventana ROV. This device has very sensitive equipment which is used to sense and count photons put out by marine sea life in the form of bioluminescence. The sensor, called "Serenity," is plugged into MBARI's MARS node, a deep sea observatory which is connected to shore via a very long power and data cable.
