Concept for a theoretically simple and economical multi-caliber single shot break open firearm design for sporting/hunting that has the locking mechanism incorporated into its striker, hence the name "SLF" for Striker Locket Firearm.
This idea is to make both the firing and locking mechanism simpler than if the two systems were separate and it is opened for reloading by pulling back on the hook-shaped part which does both unlocking and coking the gun. The system should also be rather modular as it could have a stock and barrels of different lengths be added and be chambered in any rimmed or belted cartridge, 7.62x54r in this case. Calibner conversion should be simple as the barrel assebly just neads to be changed.
Pistol gripped and short barreled version.
