Asset Overview

A single crystal of Titanoaugite (a titanium rich augite, from the Pyroxene group of silicate minerals). Sample was collected from an ash fall at Mt. Etna (Sicily). Specimen is roughly 7.3mm x 12.5mm x 5mm The 3d model represents a great example of monoclinic mineral symmetry, however, due to the size and highly vitreous lustre of the specmin (and a myriad of pilot error related issues :P ) the model's texture and mesh quality is decidedly average.
