A design for principals of tech class. we were assigned a research project where we are supposed to build a bridge out of toothpicks to hold a load, I was planning on importing this to autodesk inventor for stress anaylisis, but apparently inventor sees polymetric models as a whole instead of a collection faces, and this makes stress anaylisis impossible with the model format I have, so I will have to remodel in inventor, this upload will hopefull serve to satisfy my requirement to have drawings done, in the case that life gets in the way between now and the time prelimenaries are due, or maybe if I just get lazy, (they are of equal chance). I am aware that the front ortho is a trapezoid, and thus does not solely consist of triangles (we were warned of this) my hope is that the combination of the load, its direction, and my geometry will keep the structure from racking, if anybody has any suggestions on how to improve my design, I am open to them all.
