Asset Overview
The Nevada-class of dreadnoughts battleships was one of the many "standard type battleships" which saw service in the US Navy. Two ships were built, the Nevada and Oklahoma. They were laid down in 1912 and completed in 1914. Both ships served in WW1, yet didnt participate in any battles. When Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in 1942 Oklahoma was hit and capsized, trapping much if its crew within the hull. Nevada ran aground and was one of the few battleships which survived the battle.
Nevada got a mayor refit and took part in many mayor battles in both theatres. After the war, Oklahoma got raised and scrapped in 1944/47, Nevada got used as a target ship in Operation crossroads and sank in 1948.
This model was made by me with the help of the original recognition manual from the US Navy and features only the most important pieces of detail. This ship is depicted in its pre-war variant. I made this model for myself to produce a small fleet, and printed this model with my Resin Printer Elegoo Mars in 1/4000 scale.
