Asset Overview
A water tank and loading area for sand, with water to hose it down. I wanted to digitize some tanks for examples in petroleum work. Hopefully I find some good fuel systems to put up here.
20mm is working here most of the time - the data is exported from Faro's Scene software as a .PTS, then decimated (20mm) and cropped in AutoDesk's Recap, then exported from there as another .PTS, then converted to a .TXT to move it into Meshlab so that it can be saved as a .PLY containing only vertices.
