Eel Prototype

The Eel prototype was one of the Deep Ocean Orders first assault ships which was to carry out the tasks of Ocean raiding and if need be to bombard land fort or settlements. However as this was a prototype only one was built and saw active combat against traders, mainly those from poorer countries still using sailing ships in the industrial era, as well as several sieges during which she had sustained only moderate damage, mostly from plunging fire. Later on she would be relagated to reserve fleets and home defence before being sunk, though no one is clear as to what had happened to her, some say she was ferrying a few tonnes of gold after raiding a treasury ship on route to Thornhill, before she ran into a hurricane and sank to the bottom carrying all with her.
