Asset Overview
The EM-90 series of laser rifles are functionally identical to the Laser Ray Cannons used on large star ships, though obviously scaled down. This weapon is capable of firing either semi, full auto or continuous (uninterrupted beam) shots that can burn through several feet of steel as well as delivering a not insignificant amount of kinetic energy to the target. The EM-90A1 was adapted into service in 2446 and was later replaced by the more powerful A2 in 2453. The rifle has become the favorite of elite infantry units and even sharpshooters for its ability to deliver firepower over dozens of kilometers.
