The JK-2 survival sawback machete, military issue, is a full-tang one- or two-handed weapon and survival tool. Its rugged design features a cleaving blade, two different kinds of saw teeth serrations, a multi-size box wrench, and a can opener. Optional finger rings can provide protection, better grip, and can be used as brass knuckles in a pinch. This large weapon is often strapped to the shin, or horizontally across the back of the belt of any well-prepared space marine. The JK-2 comes in two variations: The original, full-length version, and the compact JK-2C.
The JK-4 is the more portable, bayonet adaptation of the popular JK-2. It includes similar features, such as a sturdy full-tang fixed blade, optional finger rings, and two kinds of saw-tooth serrations. But the JK-4 is much better suited to slashing and thrusting than to chopping and cleaving.
