Asset Overview
The Númenórean kite shield was the standard issued shield used by the Númenóreans at the height of their power in the late Second Age. Most commonly seen at the beginning of the Fellowship of the Ring where the army of the Faithful Númenóreans (the Númenóreans who stayed loyal to the Gods of Middle Earth called the Valar) fighting against the forces of Sauron and Sauron himself when he enters the battle.
