Shield used by a Paladin in Mobile Legends Adventure (MLA)
The Paladin is a low tier unit and doesn’t look good but the shield is cool so I made it!
I exaggerated some of the edges and details to make it pop.
After watching Arcane on Netflix I am reinvigorated to replicate the League of Legends or World of Warcraft texturing style. Tweaking the model to emphasis edges seems to have helped but I’m still missing something when it comes texturing stylized metal.
I’d appreciate any tips or tricks if anyone could offer some in the comments!
Modeled in Blender and procedurally textured in Substance Painter
