The XEMR, or Experimental Electro Magnetic Rifle, one was on of the first successful models of Rail gun designed for infantry use. Its modular design allowed for a variety of applications from assault weapon to sniper. Held back only by high cost and the fact that it still relied on an external battery that needed to be replaced every 180-400 rounds (depending on power setting) the XEMR saw widespread use for nearly 2 decades before finally being replaced by energy weapons.
I've made this downloadable but the UVs are beyond my current ability, feel free to try and tackle that mess.
