Asset Overview

Leda and the Swan, Rome, lst century A.D. copy of a Greek, original from c. 370 B.C., Marble, Nye Carlsberg Glyptotek (Copenhagen, Denmark). Made with Memento Beta. Leda holds the swan against her thigh. In fact the swan is the god Zeus himself in disguise. One issue of this “affair” was Helen. She sprung from a swan’s egg and became the cause of the Trojan war.
