Commemorative shield above the staircase on the inside of the Aldobrandeschi Castle, with a crown on the top and two eagles, a symbol derived by Byzantine imperial arms. The presence of an open princely crown above the shield indicates a member of high and ruling aristocracy. The coat of arms is coupled with a dedicatory inscription in a frame positioned below the coat of arms dated 1657. Arcidosso, Grosseto, Tuscany.
