Asset Overview

Stone lions are put to places which were thought to protect the building from harmful spiritual influences and harmful people that might be a threat. Interestingly, this idea of placing lion statues at the gates as a guardian came from China used in imperial Chinese palaces and tombs, the lions subsequently spread to other parts of Asia including Japan, Korea, Tibet, Thailand, Mynamar, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Cambodia, Laos, Taiwan, and Malaysia. And subsequently they also changed appearances through time and geographical locations. This particular sculpture sits at the gates of Kobaha Krishna mandir, located in Kobaha Square, believed to have been originally built by one of the sons of King Siddhi Narasingh Malla(1620-1661) Including : - 3D print model 1.3M tris - LOD0 is 75k tris and 8k textures diffuse/normal/metalness/roughness - LOD0 is 35k tris and 4k textures diffuse/normal/metalness/roughness - LOD0 is 15k tris and 2k textures diffuse/normal/metalness/roughness
