Asset Overview

Located in the upper end of the glen at Kirkdale and Cairnholy, on the E side of the burn is an area called Claughreid. On the southern side of the farm house, ACFA discovered a new panel in 2004. This panel was re-discovered (as the original GPS reading was c.300m off) and has now been recorded by the ScRAP team. The panel is split into four faces, by natural deep fissures. The two E faces have clear, distinct cups with multiple rings. The W has a range of grooves, in an unusal pattern without any clear single motifs. Accreditation: ScRAP ©HES.
