Asset Overview

One of the most exciting finds from the Bath House. The skull of a Late Iron Age man aged between 25 and 35, was discovered placed on a triangular platform of woven (willow/tbc) below the water table in the lower levels of the Iron Age boundary ditch. It is associated with early Roman pottery and shows no obvious signs of trauma. There is no the lower jaw and no other other body parts were been discovered with it.
