[Pierre de Ronsard](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierre_de_Ronsard) (11 September 1524 – 27 December 1585) was a French poet or, as his own generation in France called him, a "prince of poets".
This is a statue made in his memory by the sculptor Georges Delperier in 1913. Located in jardin des prébendes, Tours.
