**Lepidodendron sp.**
Fossilised remains of the tip of a branch of the Carboniferous Giant clubmoss Lepidodendron. This sepcimen is preserved in an ironstone nodule which retains more of the 3D structure of the fossil itself. Found in the Coalbrookdale area, Shropshire.
Age: approx 300 milion years.
Length 13cm Width 7.5cm Depth 2.5cm.
Imaged using an Artec spider scanner and processed using Artec studio 12.
