Soviet soldier at the entrance of the tomb for the Soviet soldiers who fell during the liberation of Vienna. The Rotamist (rank designation for the lowest crew rank of the "Red Workers' and Peasants' Army" in Soviet Russia) is depicted with lowered flag and weapon and was designed by the sculptor Ivan Perschudtschew. The grave complex on 3600 square meters is the final resting place for almost 2500 soldiers of the Red Army. It was opened on August 10, 1946.
