Asset Overview

The dolmen known as *Spinster's Rock* is a Neolithic megalith structure near the eastern edge of Dartmoor, in Devon. Little is known for sure about dolmens, although it was probably covered in an earthen mound at one point as a chambered tomb. Surrounding timber or stone circles have similarly been lost to time. The modern name is likely from a Norse legend about three spinsters who built the dolmen before breakfast. The photogrammetry is rubbish: I took a few quick photos with a phone, and missed the top of the structure as it is over 2m tall. An exercise in making the best possible model with limited source material and no external processing.
