Sur Kalba Petroglyph 6, Sharjah

A boulder with cross-hatch designs. Still under study. Sur Kalba is a likely Bronze Age site in a developed area of the city of Kalba on the eastern shore of Sharjah, UAE. It consists of a number of burial mounds or tombs, and a scattering of petroglyphs which appear to be representative of Neolithic and Bronze Age motifs. GDH ID 6 This project was done as a collaboration between the Sharjah Archaeology Authority and Global Digital Heritage. Models were processed in Reality Capture. 3D model made using 338 images in Reality Capture. Additional processing completed in Geomagic Wrap, ZBrush, Meshlab, and Blender.
