Draft of the seated figure of the German electrical engineer, inventor and industrialist Werner von Siemens. The figure was planted on the Viltoria-bridge in Berlin. In 1942, the bronze figure was melted down. Werner von Siemens is depicted with symbols of the electric industry such as cable reel, construction plan and lighting gear.
Part of the sculpture collection at the city museum of Berlin, Germany. The collection consists of 3.000 objects of which a third are portrait busts of famous Berlin artists, scholars, politicians and rulers.
