This is a 3D laser scan of a fragment of lower jaw of *Mylodon darwinii*. It was collected in 1832-1833 at Punta Alta in Argentina by Charles Darwin and is between 129,000 and 11,700 years old. It is part of the Earth Sciences collection at the Natural History Museum, London. This has been scanned as part of the Museum’s Darwin Fossil Mammals digitisation project.
