Robocop

RoboCop is a fictional character and the protagonist of the RoboCop film franchise. The original RoboCop movie was released in 1987, directed by Paul Verhoeven and written by Edward Neumeier and Michael Miner. The character has since appeared in several sequels, spin-offs, comics, video games, and a 2014 remake. RoboCop is depicted as a cyborg law enforcement officer in a dystopian future. The character's real name is Alex Murphy, a police officer who is critically injured in the line of duty and subsequently transformed into a powerful cyborg by the Omni Consumer Products (OCP) corporation.
