Salek's Hand

Salek is the name of the demon that this hand belonged too, he used his 7 hands to command the 7 armies of hell. His hand can be seen sucking the life from a sacred tree from my honours project. I excagerated the pointiness of the nails to seem sharp and wanted it to be caked in dry and wet blood to push the idea this thing lives and breathes death, which is why is seems unfazed by taking these countless sould. I think the finger and thumb could have used some more work and i wanted to add in more veins which is didnt quite have time to add in by the end but am still pleased with the result as it reflects the idea i had in mind. I made the some of the dirt and messyness in the texture alittle too intense but this is because its mostly seen from a distance and so it made more sense in the scene.
