Scarlet macaw cranial kinesis animation

3D animation of the cranial kinesis mechanism of an adult scarlet macaw skull (Ara macao, OUVC 10633). Ryan Ridgely generated the animation using inverse kinematics in Maya, based on the 3D model that WitmerLab PhD student Jann Nassif assembled from the µCT-scan data. Ryan also used for reference our video of cranial kinesis in a hyacinth macaw (http://bit.ly/2aeTamz).
