Asset Overview
A cast of the skull of the tyrannosaurid dinosaur Gorgosaurus, based on a specimen at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM 1247) was CT scanned at OhioHealth O'Bleness Hospital in Athens, Ohio. Ryan Ridgely (WitmerLab at Ohio University) then assembled the 3D model using Avizo, Maya, and Zbrush. The model was provided to the National Musuem of Natural History at the Smithsonian Instituion for use in a dinosaur exhibit.
