The Blackburn R.T.1 Kangaroo was an aeroplane that was first produced and flown in 1918. It has a maximum speed of 98 mph and could fly on average 487 miles from its origin. Compared to the Albatros D.V. it made the sacrifice of around 20 mph towards the maximum speed but it added an additional 260 miles to maximum flight distance.
