Asset Overview
During renovations a fragment of a cross-slab ) was found in the wall of the old RC church and is now preserved in the entrance porch of the new RC church. The stone appear to be similar in design to one found in N. Roscommon at Aughrim. Although only a fragment it is possible to suggest a ringed cross and a radial inscription in the spandrels '.R O.' and dating between 8th C and 10th C -
