Polish Soldiers Monument in Wroclaw - a monument erected at the Polish Soldiers Cemetery in 1979, 9 years after the opening of the cemetery.
To commemorate Polish soldiers killed in battles against Nazi aggressor in 1939-1945, a monument designed by Lucja Skomorowska-Wilimowska was unveiled on 11 October 1979 at the Polish Soldiers Cemetery. The 23 meter high reinforced concrete monument has the shape of two stylized hussar wings. In the lower part of the wings there are reliefs depicting charging lancers from the September campaign and soldiers of the Second Polish Army with rifles and the dates 1939 and 1945. In front of the monument there is a dedication plaque and three candles. The monument is located on an artificial hill with monumental stairs leading to the top
