Asset Overview
Fossiliferous calcarenites and calcirudites (Tortonian), with pinkish alteration at the contact with pyroxene andesite breccias, in which these sediments are intercalated. Loose clasts of the andesitic breccia are visible on the surface of the outcrop. Cala del Carnaje, Cabo de Gata natural park, southern Spain.
