*Homarus americana* St364 01 Carapace showing false(+) Epizootic Shell Disease (ESD) caught in a bottom trawl from Spring 2019 NOAA NE Groundfish Survey in the Gulf of Maine. Possibly shows ESD scars from the last instar showing up in the current exo-skeleton. This example used more advanced use of Metashape to eliminate extraneous (non-carapace structures e.g.antennae, antennules and compound eyes) that were interfering in many images.
